Creating a comfortable environment

Hand sanitizing or the option of wearing gloves upon entry to the store
Encouraging patients to attend by appointment (an appointment can be made easily by calling the store). Patients will be asked a few Covid-19 related questions when booking their appointment, in alignment to safety and infection control measures
In alignment to social distancing measures, being mindful of the number of patients in the practice at any given time, ensuring safety protocols set out by the province are being adhered to
Regularly cleaning and disinfecting common areas and other high-touch surfaces and objects such as doors, light switches, counter tops, etc.
Staff have been trained on the practice’s protocols, including cleaning and disinfection, and they have been provided with the proper personal protective equipment, as appropriate
Effective hand hygiene protocols will be engaged after each patient and in-between tasks (hand washing and hand sanitizer)
Frames will be cleaned and thoroughly disinfected before and after they have been handled or tried on by a patient
After an appointment, a full cleaning will be completed on all the equipment in the practice that has been touched by a staff member or patient, using a disinfectant recommended by Public Heath of Ontario
